Rather than being the biggest or the busiest practice in town, he was driven by goals that center on people: creating the best treatment outcomes and the highest patient satisfaction.
That desire led Dr. Vije to found Pain Partners of Texas, a full-time pain treatment center in the Lakeway area of Austin, Texas. Pain Partners helps patients relieve their pain so that they can get back to the activities they love.
At Pain Partners, Dr. Vije combines innovative, minimally invasive treatments with a focus on partnering with patients to improve their total wellness. It's cutting-edge care delivered in a warm and supportive environment.
Dr. Vije brings an extensive background in pain management to Pain Partners of Texas. Board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology, he was previously part of a multi-physician group here in the Austin area for five years.
The Houston native earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania.
He has given presentations and lectures on pain management, written book chapters and scientific articles, and is a speaker and educator for different methods of neurostimulation, providing treatments for minimally invasive pain relief.
Outside of his practice, you'll find Dr. Vije spending time with his wife, Avani, and their two energetic little boys, Rohan and Dilan. He also enjoys visiting extended family in Dallas and Houston, time with friends, travel, good food and outdoor activities. He's an avid college football fan — especially when it comes to his undergrad alma mater, Notre Dame. Since moving to Austin several years ago, though, he's learned to appreciate all things burnt orange as well.
